And away we go

I have felt for some time that I needed to start writing. Immediately after that thought has always come this thought: "What do I have to say?" And to be honest, I still don't have an answer to that question. Solomon was kind enough to point out that there is nothing new under the sun, and so I suppose that takes the pressure off of trying to be original or unique.

Therefore, I'm simply going to jump in. I think the title of this blog, pulled from a line in G.K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy (p. 30), is appropriate because I have a lot to learn and a lot to share, and a lot to share while I learn. Over the coming days, weeks, months, and, Lord willing, years, I will try to write here frequently. While the aesthetics of the blog itself are likely to change quite a bit over time, I will do my best to consistently improve my content and writing style.

It is my prayer that what I write will be interesting, challenging, insightful, humorous, and most of all, Christ-centered and Bible-saturated. I welcome comments and ongoing conversation, since what I post will hopefully spark something in those who read it.

Enjoy!
